This section is for anyone who reviews Tracewell for security or data protection. It will cover:

  • How ticket content is handled: a person on your team starts every investigation, and ticket text is treated as untrusted input.
  • Where your data is hosted and processed: in the EU by default.

The app and its API are at trace-well.com, and these docs at docs.trace-well.com. If your firewall or proxy restricts outbound traffic, allow trace-well.com for the people who use the Tracewell app.

Connections to trace-well.com use TLS 1.2 or later and are decrypted only in Frankfurt, Germany (EU).
